Comments

Awarded for minor naval actions and service for which a separate medal is not issued this medal remained in service for almost 50 years. The clasp BOMB AND MINE CLEARANCE 1945-46 is rare being issued to Australian naval personnel only. This medal was replaced by the Campaign Service Medal in 1964.
